Nala is a die hard hunting dog who lives to retrieve. She has a well mannered and loving demeanor with an intense drive towards hunting. She changes from the playful indoor family dog to a focused and highly disciplined retrieving machine at the first sight of a bumper or shotgun.
Nala was retrieving duck wings at 7 weeks old and had an insistent gaze that couldn't be ignored. She obtained her Junior hunting status at 14 months and her Started hunting retriever at 22 months. After taking a year break from trials due to heat cycles and focusing on some serious quality duck hunting, we returned to the Hunt trials and obtained her Senior hunting status at 3 years old and are currently working on her Masters and Hunting Retriever Champion status.
Nala's mother Young's Princess Gabriell was the first female Golden in the Nation to reach Grand Hunting Retriever Champion and only the second female to reach over 500 points in HRC. All of this was accomplished by age three. Nala's father Caymans Rum Point Red is a powerhouse all on his own. He has qualified and run two National Amateurs. Snapper went 8 series in the 1999 National Amateurs and 6 series in 2002.
